Meet Dr. Tara
Hi, I’m Dr. Tara! — founder and chiropractor of The Catalyst Spine Co.
Originally from Central Florida, I studied Kinesiology at University of Central Florida before moving to South Carolina to pursue my doctorate at Sherman College of Chiropractic, where I fell even more in love with the power of neurologically-focused chiropractic care.
Chiropractic has been a part of my life since I was a child, but for me, it’s always gone beyond pain relief. Regular care helped me feel more connected, grounded, and emotionally regulated — and it completely changed how I view health. That experience showed me how deeply I want to help people live fully, not just manage symptoms.
Today, I care for individuals and families of all ages and am Webster Certified, which means I’ve completed advanced training in pregnancy and pelvic-focused chiropractic care to better support expecting moms through every stage of pregnancy. Helping families feel safe, supported, and empowered in their bodies is something I’m especially passionate about.
More than anything, I want my patients to feel safe, seen, and at home in my office. My goal is to create real relationships — not just as your doctor, but as someone you trust. A friend in your corner. A space where you can laugh, express yourself, and leave feeling lighter than when you arrived.
Outside of chiropractic, you can usually find me reading, working out, playing cozy games, or spending time with my husband and our pets. I believe healing should feel calm and peaceful — but also fun. There’s nothing better than laughter and feeling at ease in your body. That’s what I hope every visit brings.
I can’t wait to meet you.

Every movement toward a new legacy begins with a single spark. For Tara Mueller, owner of the newly opened The Catalyst Spine Co., that spark was a refusal to view the human body as a collection of symptoms to be masked by medication.
Since opening her doors in Greenville, Tara has been on a mission to prove that true health is found within the body’s natural ability to heal. By acting as the “catalyst” to remove nervous system interference, she is helping the Upstate community rediscover what it means to thrive.
From Hospice Care to Holistic Healing
Tara’s journey to chiropractic care was a profound progression of the heart. After moving from Florida to South Carolina to attend chiropractic college, she chose a path focused on root causes rather than temporary fixes.
Her background is unique: she transitioned from hospice care—supporting patients at the end of life—to a career dedicated to helping people “express life” to the fullest. This shift defines the atmosphere of her practice. Unlike a sterile, “cold” doctor’s office, The Catalyst Spine Co. is a welcoming space built on relationships and emotional breakthroughs.
A Personalized Approach: Beyond “One-Size-Fits-All” Chiropractic
In an era of high-volume chiropractic chains, Tara is committed to a higher standard of individual care. She distinguishes her practice through a meticulous, personalized adjustment protocol.
Consistency: The spine is checked at every single visit.
Precision: Adjustments are only made exactly where they are needed.
Focus: Calming the nervous system to improve sleep, focus, and overall well-being.
Mental health is a primary passion for Tara. She advocates for chiropractic care as a powerful, non-medicinal alternative for managing anxiety and stress, offering a vital resource for Greenville families seeking holistic options for their children.
Community-Rooted Growth and Local Partnership
Building a new business in Greenville requires relentless hustle. Tara has embraced a “boots on the ground” approach to marketing, combining digital outreach with old-school community connection.
While she utilizes digital ads, her most successful connections happen within Greenville Facebook groups and through door-to-door outreach. Tara believes that success is rooted in local collaboration.
The Future of Wellness in the Upstate
Tara’s vision for the next three years is clear: a bustling family practice in a larger facility with a full staff of doctors. She views healing as a process—a retraining of the body that requires consistency, much like regular dental care.
As she navigates the challenges of a new business owner, Tara remains focused on her “why”: helping people understand that chiropractic care is about more than just back pain. It is about removing misalignments so that life can flow naturally. Through her passion and grit, Tara Mueller is making an unforgettable impact on the Greenville health scene, one adjustment at a time.
